The Off-Grid Guru

They call it “end-stage capitalism,” like it’s some kind of death rattle.

Honestly, that phrase always rubbed me the wrong way.

It sounds like an excuse to replace one broken system with another shiny trap.

But I don’t see it as a collapse.

I see the machine doing what its meant to do.

Everything’s owned. Everything’s monetized.

And the only thing you’ve got left to trade... is you.

Your time. Your energy. Your attention.

But humans weren’t built for that.

We’re not here to just run laps for coupons.

We’re gatherers. Harvesters. Problem-solvers.

We’ve always survived by using what the Earth gave freely—sunlight, wind, rain, and soil.

That’s real wealth.

Not what you buy, but what you can grow, collect, and store.

Now let me be clear:

I’m not a socialist.

I’m not a capitalist.

I don’t back any “ism” except self-ism.

Because every system out there eventually turns you into a cog—no matter how noble it sounds.

Whether it's corporate or collective, you’ll end up giving your time, your energy, and your soul…

Just to be told it’s not enough.

Self-ism is different.

It’s not selfishness—it's sovereignty.

It means building a life where you decide what your time is worth, not some system.

It means harvesting your own power, growing your own food, collecting your own water.

Taking what’s free and turning it into freedom.

I’m not perfect. I still rely on the grid for things. But every step I take off of it? That’s a step I own. And I want that for you too. Not to run—just to remember what it feels like to live by your own hands again.

I go off-grid not to run away, but to reclaim.

Every watt I generate, every drop I catch, every tomato I grow—that’s a vote against the grind.

That’s wealth I didn’t have to beg for.

Consumerism wants you numb and distracted.

Work. Spend. Scroll. Repeat.

But you can break the loop.

And no—you don’t have to do it all at once.

This isn’t about abandoning society or torching the grid.

It’s about baby steps. Daily choices.

Because it’s not society’s job to put food on your table, and it’s not society’s job to decide your value.

Some folks talk about universal paychecks.

But truth is, you already get one.

It’s called sunlight. It’s called rain.

It’s the wind that blows and the soil under your feet.

It’s not flashy, but it’s yours—if you choose to use it.

This isn’t about destroying the system.

It’s about showing it—and everyone else—that you’ve got options.

Because business is supposed to compete, right?

Well… you’re in the game too.

And it’s time to stop letting them walk all over you.
