Massive upgrade!
A very solid chunk of material. The blunt front tip and the rounded corners made it scrape a thick alfredo sauce from the corners and walls as good as a silicone floppy ended implement. I've not hatcheted with the spatchet yet. The side edge could have come sharper, spent some time with 40-120 grit trying to get it to roughly the edge of my Fiskar's hatchet.
I cannot recommend this enough if you want something that will hold up.
So I was pretty excited to open this but I wasn't expecting it to be this cool. The edge on this thing cleans up my Blackstone amazingly! The grip and shape make it so I'm not getting hit with hot little bits while I scrape. Very thoughtfully designed. I'm excited to use this thing for years to come.
